Well, I guess at least I know there's oil in it...

I guess I'm gonna be changing all the engine gaskets then. Just ordered a full kit (head gasket, oil pan gaskets, valve cover gasket, intake manifold gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, tappet gaskets, fuel pump gasket) for 8 dollars. God I love those prices.

what car is it? And I thought parts for my jeep were cheap, but $8 for a whole gasket kit is crazy cheap!

I'm going after a bad oil plug this weekend (I hope that's all it is) on my wife's Commander so I feel your pain....except we got 3 inches of snow yesterday. Gonna be a cold weekend for me...

It's my Fiat 126p. Pretty much all the parts are hilariously cheap. I think the most expensive bit I had to bay was a full brake kit. That was 25$ and includes everything apart from a brake pump (and I guess a brake pedal :P).

Luckily the Fiat is not something I have to drive and I have a garage for it. Phew.

I'm glad I'm not in your shoes.

yea because your feet would be cold. I don't think I can get much of the Jeep in the garage without pulling the Montego out into the snow (which is NOT happening).

I'll have to work fast, and i'm going to do a full oil change because if I have to pull the drain plug, i may as well, right?

Pretty much anywhere in Central Europe, but mostly Poland. Also, currently my garage because the left door lock is broken.

I had to google what a 126p is. That is an awesome little car.

Yup. Hopefully the draiplug gods smile at you and it comes out and goes back in nicely. Otherwise you're bugger'd.

It is. I'm going to be fixing mine up and I'll try to document the process on Oppo.

YUP. I believe it's just the gasket, i noticed on the last oil change it was probably needing a new one, but i'll probably just pick up a whole new plug with a built in gasket, it's only a couple dollars more. And I've got a coupon for the oil change kit anyhow (thanks advanceauto)

Unexpected leaks just add character! (My Jeep has lots of "character.")

Really, though, I'm enjoying watching the shoebox's progress. I kinda want a 126p now, though.
